1925 Buick Model 40

This 1925 Buick Model 40 Master Six 5 Passenger Coach was restored by Academy Classic Automobiles from 2007-2009.  It was one of 30,600 Model 40s produced by Buick in 1925, but there are few survivors.  The car spent its early life in Los Angeles, where it was rescued in the 1980s.  The present owner bought the car in 1992 and had it shipped to Florida in 2002.  It was essentially complete and rust/rot free, but a termite infestation necessitated complete rebuild of the wood frame.  Since completion, the Buick has won AACA Junior and Senior First Awards, BCA Gold Award, and other awards at local shows.
