Staff

Morton Automotive Group is staffed with extensively experienced technicians and craftsmen.  Under the able direction of owner, Jesse A. Morton, Sr., Morton Automotive is able to apply resources to the specialized nature of individual restoration tasks and achieve the level of quality required for superior restorations.  In so doing, individual restoration tasks are performed, and the staff are moved off to other cars.  The resultant benefit to the customer is a billing structure that arises from work performed on individual cars, rather than having to support the overhead structure of fixed work force.

Over the many years that Jesse Morton has been in business, he has assembled a cadre of skilled personnel to perform the highly specialized work of auto restoration.  Noteworthy skill sets include: drive trains of 1920s and 1930s cars, machine work including babbiting required to restore engines on these earlier cars, pinstriping, and period correct upholstery.

Jesse Morton has completed tutelage under world-renowned metal shaping and forming specialists and continues to expand his expertise.  His work has been displayed by invitation at the finest automotive displays in the country, including the Newport Concours d’Elegance and the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance.
